Riverwood Housing Renewal

The Riverwood North Urban Renewal Project involves the creation of modern architecturally-designed housing in a vibrant community of approximately 650 new homes by social housing residents, as well as private owners, with a renewed emphasis on landscaped public spaces, green streets and the creation of a new Garden Square. Stage 1 consists of two sites and three buildings.

 

The key structural engineering features of this project are:

  • 215 Apartments
  • Three buildings over common podium transfer and two basements
  • Concrete Dincel walls used a vertical loadbearing element with 150mm reinforced concrete slabs
  • Post tensioned slabs for podium and basement levels
